CASEWORKERKids Hope United, a not-for-profit, family services agency serving more than 15,000 children and their families is seeking a passionate, dedicated Caseworker for the SASS program located in our Mt. Vernon, IL facility. Experience Minimum: Specialized training in mental health, or 2 years of mental health experience.Salary: Commensurate with experienceHours per Week: To be determinedDegree Type/Area: MSW, MA or equivalent degree in a related field required.Description:Kids Hope United is seeking a dynamic, hard working individual to provide crisis intervention, case management and in-home, individual and family counseling to youth and their families when youth are experiencing conflict or having emotional or behavioral difficulties. Hours may vary, including evening and weekend crisis response. The program serves Jefferson, Wayne and Hamilton Counties.Specific Responsibilities:Work with youth and young adults in mental health and family crisis situations.

 

Desired Skills:Candidate must be energetic, family-focused, a team player, work independently, have reliable transportation and possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
