ECD/HOPE is seeking outstanding individuals for the position of Commercial Loan Officer serving the New Orleans, LA area.

Position Summary:

The Commercial Loan officer is responsible for developing and managing a commercial loan portfolio. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Commercial Finance. Primary responsibilities include:

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Develop active referral network for identifying potential customers and co-lending partnersWork with prospects and internal staff to adequately assess risk of credit requests (ranging from $10,000 to $2,000,000), present recommendations, and facilitate loan closingsOngoing management of customer relationships, including facilitating required outside technical assistance (e.g., accounting management, marketing, engineering), compliance with loan covenants, payment performance, and on-site inspections.Marketing ECD?HOPE's mortgage products and other services

 

Education and/or Experience:Bachelor's Degree in relevant field; graduate degree or professional certification preferredFour or more years experience in lending, banking, finance or related areaDemonstrated strength in credit & financial analysis, and communication (written and verbal)Strong computer skills, especially with financial spreadsheets and word processing
