Community Liaison

Summary: We are looking for a highly organized, self-starting individual that is comfortable working in a diverse socio-economic environment and wants to work at a job that makes a difference. This position requires the coordination of the administrative component of community education and/or activities and special abstinence program curriculum and events, including the administration of non-credit workshops and program activities, off site and on site training, and general instruction. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate that wants to work in a truly team-oriented environment.



Requirements:


Bachelor?s Degree in a related field (Sociology, Child Development, Etc.)




Experience working in low and moderate income communities




Fluent in Spanish is a plus (not required)




Reliable transportation, valid drivers license, and current insurance




Able to work under stressful/crisis situations




Group facilitation experience preferred




Strong organizational skills




Must work flex hours (some evenings and weekends required)*




Strong oral and written communication skills




General knowledge of Microsoft Word and Powerpoint
