Director, Cultural Health Initiatives

The Pacific Mountain Affiliate has an opening for a professional health educator, experienced in working with diverse populations, to address heart and stroke issues in diverse communities.  Join us as the Director, Cultural Health Initiatives to partner with state and local agengies to market and implement culturally appropriate programs and awareness campaigns. Also responsible for program evaluation, measurement outcomes and customer satisfaction.  Assure that Affiliate policies are carried out and that goals are achieved in a timely fashion.

 

Qualifications:

* BA in health education, public administration, political science, healthcare marketing or other related discipline. 

* Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

* Minimum two to three years professional experience in managing relationships, building alliances, and/or account management. 

* Knowledge of community-based organizations and strategies, group processes and group dynamics. 

* Skill in effective oral and written communications, PC and computer equipment including word processing, accounting, data base management, spreadsheets and software applications. 

* Ability to travel and work flexible hours.

* Non-smoking office.
