Director of Client Programs
Now Hiring for a Director of Client Services for a Non-Profit agency in South Orange County
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the development, maintenance, and evaluation of Client Programs. Assures that the client programs and departments establish and accomplish goals within the context of the Mission Statement. Assures coordination of admissions, clinical staff development, and quality assurance with all programs and departments. Maintains compliance in clinical programs of all federal, state, and local regulatory agencies. Coordinates all administrative activities with the Executive Director.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Develops and maintains all policies and procedures for the following programs: Counseling programs and services for the Counseling and Resource Center, the Children?s Program, and the Legal Department.
Develops and supervises appropriate administrative files in support of functional areas. Assures the integration of administrative policies and procedures in regards to staff development, admissions, quality assurance and program development.
Oversee all operations of the Counseling and Resource Center- Counseling Department.
Oversee all operations of the Children?s Learning Center.
Oversee all operations of the Legal Department.
Continually review current programs and conduct needs assessment for additional programs for all client related departments.
Responsible for the development of client programs and services for the Counseling and Resource Center, Children?s Program, and the Legal Department.
Develop curriculums for new programs, write service plans and detail budgets to project costs for new programs.
Collaborate with Grant Department to secure funding for current and proposed programs.
Create evaluation tools for each new program, field test document and oversee data collection. Review results of evaluations with each department manager and adjust programs accordingly.
Human Resources (in conjunction with the Executive Director) ? assists in the development of job descriptions for all management positions for the Emergency Shelter, Counseling and Resource Center, Children?s Program, and the Legal Department.
Conducts and coordinates staff meetings with the Executive Team to ensure staff is fully informed of pertinent information encompassing job expectations and performance.
Meet with supervisors ensuring functional areas are effectively communicating and receiving the support needed from administration.
Meet on a regular basis with the Executive Director to coordinate all administrative executive and client-related functions.
Develop ongoing training and continuing education programs to support individual productivity, professional growth and job enrichment for staff.
Pursue new community contacts in order to identify possible collaboration and revenue sources.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise Managers at various program sites.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.
Addresses complaints and resolves problems or conflict within the Emergency Shelter, Counseling and Resource Center, Legal Department, and the Children?s Program.
Maintain continuing education, both clinically and administratively to fulfill requirements of position.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Master?s degree (M.A.) or equivalent; or four to ten years? related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Current MFT license preferred, but not required.
Complete 40 hour state-certified training in domestic violence.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conforms to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or board of directors.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, etc. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Ability to administer private, nonprofit service organizations, including an understanding of the legal responsibilities and constraints of such organizations.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with federal, state, regional, and local agencies, community leader and the general public.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid drivers license and insurance; reliable transportation.
Employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; communicate clearly both audibly and written. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
