Toby?s House embraces pregnant women in crisis, providing a safe, supportive home for them and their young children by promoting vocational and spiritual advancement through counseling, education, prayer and a life-based value system that empowers them to become confident, contributing community members.

 

Maintain and Implement Toby?s House Resident Rules and Regulations. 

Maintain and Implement Toby?s House Staff Policies and Procedures. 

Complete the Resident Daily Living Goals and Objectives prior to the intake of the client. Oversee the assessment of needs of each new client.

Manage on-site staff members, Case manager, Therapist, and Volunteers.

Work with the Mental Health Care Staff to create an appropriate Treatment Plan for each client.  Act as a liaison between Case Manager and Mental Health Staff.  Facilitate weekly Staff Meeting.

Oversee the execution of Resident Treatment Plan to address client?s need for: prenatal care, job training, life-skills education, financial management, drug/alcohol treatment, counseling, childcare, and Medi-cal/WIC/Cal-Works.  Act as a liaison between client and local support service programs.

Maintain a rapport with client that will allow her to build self-esteem by reaching employment, educational, spiritual, and long-term housing goals.

 

Manage services and educators that provide pre-natal information, birthing education, nutritional care, breastfeeding education and other services that pertain to newborn care.

 

Utilize Case Management statistics (i.e. number of clients served, number of babies born, number of Hotel Stays), and other pertinent statistics to provide a written report to the Executive Director and Board of Directors at the end of each month. Complete newsletter articles as needed.

 

Facilitate the Director?s monthly house meetings.

 

Provide the Executive Director, Director of Development, and Board of Directors with necessary information pertaining to grants when requested.

 

Be on-call on scheduled days/evenings for clients and emergencies.

 

Maintain sufficient communication with House Managers and Case Manager to provide seamless transition from day to evening staffing shifts.

 

Develop and foster relationships in the local communities to help link residents to supportive services. Be a liaison with community agencies to form partnerships and a referral network.

 

Manage administration, training, and use of the HMIS Information System.

 

Organize special projects or fundraising events.

 

Coordinate Alumni program for all past residents.

 

Field all inquiry calls for services; refer calls out to appropriate resources.
