Fundraiser/Development Associate - Wall Street Division

UJA-Federation cares for those in need, rescues those in harm?s way, and renews and strengthens the Jewish people in New York, in Israel, and around the world. We currently have a wonderful opportunity available for a development professional to join our Wall Street Division.

 

Our campaign teams are responsible for raising dollars for our Annual Campaign by developing and strengthening relationships between UJA-Federation?s lay leaders, donors, volunteers and prospects; developing and implementing a campaign business plan; establishing plans for leadership development; all aspects of event coordination; increasing the fundraising effort and donor base through face-to-face meetings, telephone contact and follow up; coordinating and evaluating committee meetings; creating volunteer opportunities for leadership and donors; and outreach and engagement by following up with referrals and prospects.

 

Qualified candidates possess the following; prior fundraising or related business experience essential; Excellent relationship building, solicitation, interpersonal, verbal, written, organizational and administration skills required. Ideal candidate has the ability to multi-task, is self-motivated and has a passion for our mission.  Must have knowledge of Jewish communal organizations and issues facing the Jewish community.
