Grants Coordinator

Job Summary

 

Responsible for researching funding sources and preparing and writing grant proposals.

 

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

 

1.  Research potential funding sources via the internet, directories, phone, professional literature and other resources.*

2.  Inter-face with staff to gain knowledge of programs/services for which funds are being sought.*

3.  Prepare grant proposals including the writing and gathering of all the required information.*

4.  Maintain relationships with current funders ? foundations, corporations and individuals.*

5.  Cultivate potential supporters.

6.  Other duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements

1.  Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.

2.  Excellent communication skills, must be able to effectively communicate Clovernook?s mission via phone, in person and in writing.

3.  Proficient P/C skills (MS Word, Excel, etc.).

4.  Minimum 3 years experience in grant writing, development, PR or related field.

5.  Post-offer, pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
