MGR MATERIALS
Manages all aspects of materials management and control of the mateiral movement throughout the plant. The facility is an FDA regulated plant manufacturing medical devices.This position is responsible for developing production schedules, purchasing materials, warehousing, and shipping finished product to the company's distribution centers. The plants COP is 130,000,000. The materials manager directs the work of three production planners, 2 buyers, and a warehouse superintendent.
Requirements:
Four year college degree, CPM and/ or CPIM Apics certification
Minimum 8 years of purchasing and production planning experinece.
Proven ability to handle high level purchasing; knowledge of basic supply chain management
Good verbal and written communication; working knowledge of MRP
basic math skills; and a working Knowledge of BPICS/SAP or other similar systems.
