Major Gifts Officer ? Greater Houston Area

 

Are you naturally intuitive about other?s needs and wants?  Do you enjoy relating to others on a wide range of topics and do you have personal relationships with the Greater Houston philanthropic community?

 

If so, we may have an opportunity for you.  The American Heart Association is seeking the best Major Gifts Officer in the Houston area.  In this position you will meet daily with donors to cultivate strong and lasting relationships.  You will also know what motivates and interests donors and work with them accordingly.  Because people give to people, your success in this position will be a product of the relationships you cultivate. 

 

Successful candidates will have a proven track record of asking and receiving donations ranging from $5k to $100k.  They will be extremely polished, worldly, and have strong ties to the Houston community.  The candidate will be degreed and have at least two years of individual giving experience coupled with experience in positions requiring extensive relationship building among the Houston philanthropic community.  Candidates must also be willing to work at what ever hours and times are necessary to maintain and grow strong relationships.

 

All of the above experience must be clearly evident in the candidate?s resume for further consideration.

 

Starting salary for this position up to 100k for the right candidate.
