Manager, Young Lions Program

A challenging fundraising opportunity is available at The New York Public Library to manage the Young Lions Program. A dynamic membership group for donors in their 20s and 30s, the Young Lions celebrate the work of young writers, artists, and innovators who are making an impact on our culture and society. The Manager of the Young Lions Program creates and implements the annual operating plan, organizes membership events, staffs the Program?s leadership Committee, works with Benefit Co-Chairs to maximize income from the annual Young Lions Party, and oversees all aspects of the Young Lions Fiction Award. The successful candidate will have a bachelor?s degree, preferably in the humanities, and a combination of strong fundraising, marketing and communication skills with program and events planning experience.  A love of books is a must and familiarity with the publishing world would be a plus.
