AHF is searching for a Manager of Member Services and Enrollment to join our Managed Care Division. This position is to work on a fulltime regular basis. The hours are Monday-Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and the job is based out of our Linn House Administrative Office:

JOB DESCRIPTION
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Includes but not limited to the following:
- Supervises Managed Care Sales, Eligibility and Member Services Staff.
- Maintains AHF/Managed Care Sales Database and ensures leads generation and follow-up.
- Oversees Managed Care Division?s Customer Service Call Center & Reporting measures.
- Leads team in processing of monthly enrollments, disenrollments for State & Federal Plans.
- Works with Data and Financial Dept. to ensure proper processing of monthly Invoicing.
- Develops and maintains Managed Care State & Fed-Approved Marketing Materials.
- Ensures Federal & State Compliance and expertise in assigned Managed Care areas.
- Trains and monitors Sales/Member Services staff to ensure compliance with State & Fed regulations.
- Generates AHF/Managed Care sales growth and retention opportunities in coordination with other department managers and ensures implementation and operation.
- Prepares goals with staff and assists with implementation and team building.
- Reports monthly sales, retention and disenrollment data to Executive Managers and Staff.
- Works closely with Provider Relations dept. to ensure Customer Relations and Sales growth.
- Processes monthly staff and AHF Pharmacy sales bonuses and maintains data.
- Ensures that all Call Center personnel are properly trained per Medicare Call Center Performance standards.
- Oversees Community Outreach efforts with staff and other departments.
- Communicates with Medicare & Medi-Cal regarding assigned areas and maintains good vendor relations.
- Oversees maintenance, distribution of sales and enrollment materials.
- Supervises the logging of customer service issues, including grievances, to the appropriate Managed Care databases. Assures that grievance files are maintained per Medi-Cal and Medicare guidelines. Refers grievance matters for appropriate follow-up by Quality Management Department or Plan Administration.
- Ensures that Client requests/inquiries/concerns are resolved in a timely fashion.
- Works with AHF Marketing department to develop and maintain website and paper marketing collateral materials.
- Works with Provider Relations staff to assure that AHF Healthcare Centers and outside Primary Care Providers receive managed care department guidelines/updates and are communicated effectively to staff.
- Spearheads growth, retention and incentive efforts for clients and staff including ?Gift of Life? referral program, ?Health & Wellness Program?, Annual Thanksgiving/Client Appreciation Luncheons, and HCC ?Lunch & Learn? Presentations.
- In concert with Enrollment & Eligibility Specialist, assists in many of the enrollee notifications/mailings.
- Assists Executive Team in implementing Foundation goals and selling measures to staff and clients.
- Handles vendors (outside and inside AHF) with diplomacy, professionalism and leadership.
- Team Leader for monthly Managed Care Division staff meetings.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervises all Sales and Marketing, Eligibility, Member Services and Outreach Representatives.
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
Two years minimum experience in a managed care organization. Familiarity with Medicaid and/or Medicare sponsored programs. Healthcare Management Background preferred.
Computer/Software Skills & Abilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of standard business software, including but not limited to, Microsoft office products.
Other Skills & Abilities/Qualifications
- Ability to summarize analytical results graphically and numerically in Crystal Reports, MS Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Prior experience with health-related databases preferred.
