Position Description:  The Marketing and Public Relations Manager has primary responsibility for coordinating, development, and implementing all aspects of MLT?s marketing and PR initiatives.  A new position within the organization, the Marketing and Public Relations Manager will build upon the organization?s significant accomplishments to increase brand awareness among multiple audiences and position MLT for continued growth.  Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:Building a strong marketing function within MLT, creating a marketing culture Managing relationships with agencies for marketing, PR, and graphic design Developing and implementing marketing plans with Program Directors and COO Coordinating the development of all collateral material (e.g. brochures, PR kit, annual report, etc.) Executing direct marketing campaigns Increasing traffic to MLT and 4XL? Web sites Driving increased applications for all three MLT programs Increasing MLT awareness within target constituencies Developing and managing MLT?s public relations initiatives Developing and maintaining brand performance metrics QualificationsAt least 5 years of post-college marketing experience with demonstrated track record of success; direct marketing experience strongly preferred Creative and strategic thinker Excellent execution capability with results-orientation Extremely well-organized and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly listening, motivating, and persuading. Strong written and oral communication skills Highly resourceful with ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented, entrepreneurial environment Copy writing experience a plus MBA a plus To Apply
