Online Marketing Manager

Starlight Starbright Children?s Foundation?s national headquarters is seeking an extraordinary individual to join our Marketing and Development team as our Online Marketing Manager.

 

The ideal candidate will be creative, energetic, positive and team-oriented.  He or she will be a big picture thinker who has a thorough understanding of how to harness the power of the Internet on behalf of a charitable organization. 

 

Starlight Starbright will soon launch a number of new, unique and groundbreaking online marketing and fundraising campaigns.  If the idea of realizing the potential of these campaigns as well as conceptualizing/implementing other innovative online programs sounds like the type of career opportunity you?ve been seeking, we?d like to hear from you!

 

Day-to-day Online Marketing Manager responsibilities include:

?  Managing continued development and optimization of www.starlight.org; including both enhancements to site structure and regular updates to site content using Kintera.

?  Increasing traffic to www.starlight.org and realizing online fundraising goals through link exchanges and other cooperative initiatives, and groundbreaking online campaigns and promotions. 

?  Developing, implementing and monitoring online marketing tools such as Search Engine Marketing and meta-tagging to help increase traffic to www.starlight.org and online program sites.

?  Providing content guidance and some degree of technical support to each Starlight Starbright chapter in relation to chapter websites.

?  Managing production and distribution of monthly Foundation eNewsletter (in partnership with Communications Manager).

 

The qualified candidate will have excellent technical, communication, organizational, project management and ?customer service? skills. Knowledge of Kintera and how to use Kintera to manage website content preferred.  Experience with Photoshop and basic html a plus.  Three+ years experience in online marketing and/or website content management required.
