Part-time Development Professional III -- Special Events

Our Fundraising department is seeking a part-time Development Professional III for our regional office in Sherman Oaks, California.

We are seeking a well-organized, creative, highly motivated individual to coordinate and manage fundraising and special events for the benefit of and to meet the income goals of our regional development office located in Sherman Oaks, California.

This development professional will work closely with volunteers ? including special event chairs and committee members to implement plans and maximize income and growth for each event.

The ideal candidate will have:
? At least 3 years of nonprofit experience coordinating special events for
fundraising purposes, to include partnering with trustees & volunteers.
? Volunteer management experience.
? Strong interpersonal communication & organizational skills.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field

Experience: 3 to 5 years in Development marketing, public relations, or other related experience.

OR - Any equivalent combination of Education or Experience.

Schedule: 24 hours per week, Mon - Fri
