Hudson Guild, a dynamic and highly regarded social services organization, is seeking experienced and dedicated candidates for our NORC program.  We are looking for a Case Manager and a NORC Coordinator to join a diverse team of social service workers and community activists in a holistic, settlement house environment.NORC Coordinator

 

Responsibilities include implementation and assessment of services and activities for older adults, including case management/assistance; health management/assistance; recreational/educational/support groups; implementing awareness of mental health issues into all activities, and conducting/coordinating outreach to senior residents. 

 

Must have a Masters Degree in Social Work with a minimum of five years of work experience.  MSW SIFI/student field instruction certification a plus.  Excellent organizational, communications and supervisory skills are required as well as proven ability to be sensitive to the needs/interests of older adults.  In addition to excellent communication skills in English, equivalent mastery of Spanish or Chinese preferred.  Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.   NORC Case Manager

 

Responsibilities include developing/monitoring care plans, facilitating concrete service provisions, conducting intake and needs assessments, providing advocacy, making referrals, providing linkages to other appropriate services, and addressing quality of life issues facing older adults in the community. 

 

Must have BA degree in human services, two years of related work experience, ability to work effectively with older adults and other service agencies.  Must also have strong working knowledge of government entitlement and social services systems.  Excellent organizational and advocacy skills and the ability to be part of a team.  Must be computer literate.  Bilingual Chinese/English preferred.

 

Both positions required the ability to work a flexible Tuesday through Saturday schedule and some evenings
