Aerospace and Defense Strategy Associate

Key Role: Work with commercial aerospace and defense clients worldwide through all stages of strategy-based transformation projects. Work as a team member on client assignments, help to develop a strategy, and refocus an organization on making that strategy a reality. Consult with clients to identify, clarify, and resolve complex issues critical to the clients’ strategic and operating success by developing insight. Conduct independent analysis, meet with clients to assure assignment progress, and develop conclusions and recommendations. Write reports, assist in client presentations, and provide implementation assistance as required. Support the construction of the analytical framework and work steps for each assignment.



Functional/Industry Knowledge:

-2+ years of experience in the commercial aerospace industry required

-Experience with strategy, project management, engineering, organizational restructuring and transformation, operations, and sales

-Experience with strategic planning, business development, marketing, and finance

-Ability to show a record of progressive promotion and academic achievement

-Possession of excellent analytical, interpersonal, and leadership skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

 

Education/Certifications or equivalent required:

MBA or MA or MS degree in a related field required
