Air Force Systems Business Developer

Key Role: Perform business development and market-driven activities in support of a Booz Allen team dealing with Air Force systems. Develop the Air Force systems market, particularly within AF/XC and AF/DP. Identify and prosecute a minimum of $10 million in annual revenue. Support large acquisitions on a case-by-case basis. Provide support to GWAC infrastructure in the national capital region, specifically related to business development activities. Lead tasks, including researching, writing, and preparing materials for distribution. Create visual presentations, handle advertising and promotional work to support marketing efforts, maintain current and potential client contacts, and respond to inquiries. Arrange and conduct business development programs, write proposals, and establish and maintain client relationships.



Basic Qualifications:


-7+ years of experience with developing business in the defense market within the Air Force


-3+ years of experience with writing proposals for the federal or defense markets


-BA or BS degree


 -Ability to obtain a security clearance required


 


Additional Qualifications:


-Experience with working across the Air Force market, focusing on the Secretary of the Air Force, warfighting integration, Chief Information Officer, and the AF Deputy Chief of Staff for Personnel organizations


-Knowledge of the Shipley methodology a plus
-BA or BS degree in a related field preferred
