AREA MANAGER Job: To operate a clothes collection system in the Milwaukee Metro Area; while developing the operation from 100 drop-boxes now to 600 within a year.

Term:

Full time

Compensation:

$30,000 plus profit sharing
Health insurance (Blue Cross Blue Shield)
Paid vacation

Requirements:

The successful candidate has several years of management experience, and has a proven ability to organize and manage an efficient and profitable operation. Rational and systematic task solver. Fast learner. Dependable. Typing and computer experience. Passion for recycling. Positive attitude.

You are a practical person, and you want to do hands-on work together with your people; locate sites for placement of drop-boxes, drive trucks, bale clothes, lead and set the pace.

The Area Manager must relate well with all people, cooperate with coworkers at all levels, build company spirit, and build good relations with site hosts, authorities, citizens and vendors in a professional manner.

You want to work together with a group of dedicated people to achieve a common goal. You want to be challenged. You are an ambitious person who is looking for a job to provide space for you to grow and learn many new things.

Who we are:

U'SAgain (pronounced use again) is a modern, growing for-profit company, dedicated to conserving natural resources through the creation of recycling programs.

From our base in West Chicago, IL we are expanding our network of easily accessible drop-off bins for used and surplus clothing, for shoes and domestic textiles. In 2005 we diverted 16 million lbs of clothing from landfills for reuse in the US and abroad. We operate clothes collection in Chicago, Milwaukee, Saint Louis, Minneapolis, and Seattle.

Recycling is the topic of the day, here in the beautiful Midwest. Under the trademark U'SAgain (USA Use Again) we grow our company with the policy to recycle on every street corner and in every business, school and church. Today only 15% of clothing is reused or recycled in our country. We intend to change that figure!

As Area Manager, you will:

1. Report to the Chief Executive Officer, and be fully responsible for achieving the production and financial goals in the Milwaukee area.

2. Hire, train and manage all staff in the Milwaukee operation.

3. Locate sites and get permission for placement of clothes drop-boxes.

4. Provide excellent service to the site hosts, through organizing timely and efficient emptying of the drop-boxes by contracted truck drivers.

5. Set up and manage a warehouse with equipment and personnel to pack the clothing in bales and cap-sacks, and load tractor trailers and shipping containers for customers.

6. Carry out continuous quality control on the product.

7. Build and maintain strong relationships with co-workers, customers, site hosts, authorities, and vendors.

This is a mid career position, so you are expected to have some management experience, although you don't have to know it all when you start. We are looking for a quick person who can learn on the job. For a person with dedication and ambition, this position allows a great deal of responsibility.

If this sounds interesting, please submit your application to Mattias Wallander, by e-mail online or by fax to (630) 293-1237.

Sincerely Yours,

Mattias Wallander
CEO
