Area Operations Manager

Lanier is seeking a dynamic individual to become an integral part of our high caliber facilities management division as an Area Operations Manager in the Atlanta metro area.

 

The basic function of the Area Operations Manager is to oversee management of designated Site Managers and Lead Operators, and their respective accounts, to include staffing, equipment and customer satisfaction.

 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

*  Manage Site Managers, Lead Operators and Production Managers and their responsibilities. Facilitate

  regular employee development programs including personnel performance reviews. Hire, counsel, 

  terminate, promote, etc. all operations personnel in your designated area. 

*  Own the relationships with your customers for Operations. Prepare and deliver monthly account

  management reports to customers. Facilitate monthly account meetings with customers.

*  Maintain profitability at designated accounts, reviewing and managing monthly P/L statements.  Prepare

  and deliver monthly area reports for Upper Management.

*  Manage both billing and collection processes for designated accounts. Ensure contracts are kept current

  and addendums are created as needed.

*  Assist with the analysis/proposal process of new opportunities.

*  Continually pursue and identify cost saving opportunities.

*  Identify opportunities for internal growth of designated accounts.

The ideal candidate must meet the following requirements:

* At least 3 years of experience managing multiple locations in facilities management, including copy centers and mailroom operations..

* At least 2 years of college in an applicable field.

* Proven track record of customer satisfaction.

* At least 2 years experience managing P/L Statements.

* At least 3 years of experience managing staff of 20 people, minimum, at more than one location.

* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

* Ability to multi-task.

* Computer proficiency, including Lotus Notes, MS Word, MS Excel and Powerpoint.
