Assistant Credit Manager

ASST. CREDIT MANAGER - HIGHLY PROMOTABLE POSITION

This position requires a results-oriented individual who is self motivated and a team player. The job responsibilities include managing collections, evaluating credit applications and setting credit limits, resolving payment discrepancies, daily interaction with customer service, sales and customers, approving orders, maintaining credit limits, recommending accounts for collections, follow-up on collections and bankruptcies, analyzing financial statements, working with UCC and related secured financing documents, and maintaining accounts receivable.  The applicant should have at least five years? experience in commercial credit and collections, good communication and administrative skills, proficiency with EXCEL? and WORD?, and experience working with mainframe and PC platforms. This position will be responsible for supervising two clerical support persons.  A Bachelor?s degree is preferred.
