Aviation Safety Management Consultant

Key Role: Provide management consulting for the FAA and other aviation industry clients.?Identify system vulnerabilities and develop safety management programs and process-driven approaches to monitoring system safety.?Conduct data-driven assessments of system interdependencies, risks, and hazards. Identify organizational risks and develop mitigation strategies.?Develop new ideas and concepts, translate these ideas into executable action plans, communicate these plans to a diverse client base, and assist in their implementation.



Functional/Industry Knowledge:

-3-5 years of experience with related work required

-Experience with methods for hazard and risk identification, including FHA, PHA, and FMECA

-Experience with evaluating risks in an operational environment or organization

-Experience with the implementation of a systematic safety management approach to monitoring system and organizational performance

-Knowledge of the development of safety management processes

-Knowledge of organizational change and culture improvement methods

Education/Certifications or equivalent required:

MA or MS degree in System Safety, Safety Engineering, or a related field required
