Branch Manager - Chicago, IL

The Branch Manager is responsible for all aspects of running the facility and for carrying out the Company's vision. Every day brings new challenges. You are empowered to make key business decisions and touch every aspect of the business - strategic sales, merchandising, inventory, finance (budgeting), productivity, and training. Your day may take you from stocking shelves to coaching a team member, or to joining a sales manager on an account call.

Your success is measured by your team's ability to achieve business goals, including sales growth, operational excellence, and productivity improvements. Your outstanding leadership, and service and sales skills will ensure that we exceed customer expectations and balance business needs. As a result, you will be rewarded through an incentive plan that complements your base salary.

We're not looking for product or service experts, but you will have a passion for new technology, as you'll be able to leverage an extensive pool of resources. They include vendors, product specialists and leading e-commerce and enterprise technology to guide you and your customer to a solution that is supported by specific product lines, features and benefits. Your role is to manage the process and build enthusiasm within your staff to effectively utilize these tools.

Requirements

* Demonstrated leadership skills to coach and facilitate exceptional service and sales performance, motivate a team, continuously identify and develop talent, and effectively communicate our shared vision and direction.
* Established problem solving and effective interpersonal skills, competence in the application of computer software and technology that supports service and sales objectives, and Internet acumen to achieve positive results.
* Developed abilities to maintain effective relationships with customers, employees and internal partners, so business goals are realized.
* Availability to travel within and outside local market area, including overnight travel and possibly on short notice.
* Interest in relocation for future advancement.
* Bachelors' degree preferred, equivalent experience will be considered.
