UBS International Inc. (UBS-I) is a U.S. registered Broker-Dealer and a sister-company of UBS Financial Services Inc. (UBS-FS). UBS-I is part of UBS's Wealth Management International (WMI) division and operates in partnership with their Private Banking group. Its core business model provides U.S.-centric wealth management solutions to High Net Worth clients who reside outside of the United States. As a result of this success, we are growing our presence in San Diego. UBS-I is looking for a dedicated Branch Sevices Associate (BSA) who can provide operations support to our Financial Advisors.

Role Overview

BSAs work within a local Branch of the UBS International division and reports to the Operations Manager.

BSAs support Financial Advisor(s) to ensure that all client transactions are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

They execute a variety of service requests from clients including account maintenance, funds disbursement, journal entries, etc.

In addition, the BSA provides overall operational support to the Financial Advisors including bookkeeping, cashiering, order entry, reporting and records reconciliation and serves as a liaison with other areas to research issues.

They also act as intermediaries to other internal Branch clients, including management, Client Service Associates, and Branch Technology Liaisons.

Basic Qualifications
Bilingual English and Spanish strongly preferred, Portuguese a plus

Excellent phone etiquette, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Professional demeanor; possesses a positive attitude and demeanor

Has quick turnaround discipline; high attention to detail and personal standard

Ability to use good judgment, recognizes urgency and takes appropriate action; can handle confidential information

Highly organized and able to prioritize; ability to multi-task in a highly visible fast-paced, team-oriented environment and think outside the box
