Business Operations - Training Program

Our client is a prestigious software company based in Cambridge, MA, and looking to train a group of people who are interested in learning about software licensing, distribution, and back office accounting related to these processes.

 

We are looking for fast learners with solid analytical skills, who are good working with Excel spreadsheets or Oracle databases, and who enjoy interacting with customers.  If you speak Spanish, German or French fluently, that is a major plus when dealing with European customers.

 

You will be trained in one or more of the following areas:

- Evaluating and administering client contracts

- Verifying software pricing modules

- Back office processing to make sure orders are accurately entered

- Generating software license files onto CD-ROMs

- Creating and tracking quotes for Software Maintenance Services

 

If you have a Bachelor's degree or higher, and at least one year experience working in a professional business setting, we invite you to apply.

 

Requirements

? Excellent customer service skills and a strong passion for customer service

? Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

? Strong attention to details and organizational skills

? Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities

? Ability to work well with limited supervision and within a diverse team

? Willingness to work overtime (paid at time and a half) during quarter close periods

? Strong proficiency in MS Office tools such as Word, Excel and Outlook

? Experience in using database-driven business applications (e.g. Finance, CRM applications)

? Prior experience in managing and selling software maintenance services contracts a plus

? 2nd Language a plus ? Spanish, French, German or Italian

? College degree preferred

 

 

This is a contract to hire situation.  All applicants who successfully complete the 3 month training program will be offered permanent employment.  Health and dental insurance benefits are available during the training period.
