Business Unit Operations Manager - Chicago

OUTPUT: Demonstrates initiative and takes independent action in providing strong and effective support to the BUD and District Managers in all facets of operations, management and administration.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage and direct case priorities for Business Unit.
2. Conduct case-specific and workload research and analysis.
3. Review case quality conditions of the Business Unit.
4. Manage physical and computer security.
5. Monitor check rides and NIT/OJT and Quality Enhancement programs.
6. Oversee Re-interview program.
7. Oversee staffing for Business Unit.
8. Oversee routine administration for the Business Unit.
9. Conduct special research and other duties as assigned.

MEASUREMENT:
1. Cases are well managed in the Business Unit with little need for BUD involvement.
2. Quality programs result in routinely meeting customer quality expectations.
3. Security matters meet USIS and customer requirements.
4. Staffing efforts anticipate future needs resulting in minimal need for extensive detailing from outside the Business Unit.

Technical ? Knowledge of investigative techniques and requirements. Knowledge of customer requirements and expectations, superior management skills. Knowledge of budget process and oversight. Knowledge of case assignment and quality control processes. District Manager experience is a plus.

Physical ? Sedentary position. Ability to sit and stand for varying periods.
