Case Ready Meat Specialist

 

JOB SUMMARY:  Comprehensive oversight of case ready products produced at Tar Heel and Holbrook

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate and provide continuity of products between the Tar Heel case ready operation and the Holbrook case ready plant to ensure parity of products, specs, quality, etc.

 

Coordinate with existing customer base and any potential customers primarily at store level to ensure on-going successful deployment of case ready products.  Report and work to overcome store level and distribution issues.

 

Function as the subject matter expert of over wrap whole muscle and offal case ready products.  Perform sales and operational analysis to support these operations and customers.

 

Assist the Director of Case Ready Meats in various other tasks assigned to ensure the success and profitability of the company and the product line.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

-  Retail Meat Experience

-  Meat Production Experience

-  B.S. degree preferred with 3-5 years experience

-  Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Outlook, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint
