Responsibilities Include:  Under guidance of Management, supervise assigned staff.  Establish and monitor performance objectives; appraise performance, recommend salary increases; ensure employee training and development.  Coach, council and assist in the termination of employees, as necessary.  Ensure Bank policies and procedures are administered properly.  Assist Management in the development of methods to increase efficiency, quality, and performance.  Make recommendations to Management for Unit improvements or changes, as needed.  Assist Management in the maintenance of department controls, such as certifications; audit major customer differences; approve and review general ledger entries and review and submit vendor billings for approval. Adhere to established budget for those line items that can be controlled.  Under guidance of Manager, maintain ongoing communication with direct staff, other units, and internal departments.  Provide assistance and problem resolution as needed.  Act as security officer for area ensuring records and controls are in place for such items as combinations, key custody, validation stamps, sealing devices and other sensitive items.  Assist in creating customer correspondence, memos, tracking logs, and other necessary documents for the Unit.  Manage reports, perform additional duties, and handle special projects, as assigned.

 

Requirements Include:  High School Diploma and minimum of two years job related experience in operations, service, supervision and/or leadership.  10-key by touch.  Cash handling, manual dexterity, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs and push carts carrying weights up to 2,500 lbs.  Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills, able to compose, understand and communicate written and verbal, instructions, policies and procedures.  Customer correspondence in English. An ability to prioritize and flex with the pressures created by a production environment.  Flexibility to move from task to task.  Knowledge of transactions enabling them to access and troubleshoot out of balance situations and resolve issues.  Strong mathematical concepts, bookkeeping, and analytical skills.  Able to perform, instruct, and assist with the most complex duties and calculations.  Computer/data input and proficiency in PC applications such as word processing and spreadsheets as well as other computer application necessary to the Unit.  Knowledge of teller equipment and other equipment specific to their unit.  Strong working knowledge of Departmental policies and procedures.  Work independently and as a team player in a production environment.  Work in an enclosed high security setting.

 

Preferred Skills Include:  Some knowledge of the CVAS system with little supervision and instruction preferred.  Cross-trained and proficient in all areas of the operation helpful.

 

***Shift hours are 5:00am to 2:00pm.  Must also be flexible to cover other shifts.***
