Commodities Confirmations Specialist

UBS Investment Bank is seeking a Commodities Confirmations Specialist to join its Energy Operations team.

Responsibilities of the role include:

* Accurate and timely confirmation of the economic terms of commodity trades done direct with counterparties or via a broker

* Timely monitoring and chasing of unexecuted confirmations

* Resolution of all documentation issues throughout the confirmation process

* Work closely with trading and legal in order to resolve contracutal issues preventing confirmation

* Preparing various regulatory reports and responding to audit requests as needed

* Performing and documenting various reconcilations and controls

* Identifying potential system enhancements and managing process improvements

* Weekly/monthly metrics reporting

* Reporting and Managing of Operational risk

* Ad-hoc projects as required

Basic Qualifications

* At least 2 years commodity Confirmations/Documentation experience

Preferred Qualifications

* Highly developed communication and customer service skills

* Strong computer skills including MS Excel and MS Access preferred

* High level of attention to detail and client relationship skills

* Strong time management and prioritization skills

* Proactive in assessing risk and resolving issues
