Director, Distribution Center
A high profile, retail/distribution company with significant growth over the last several years is seeking an enthusiastic, customer service oriented leader for its Distribution Center. Do you have 8 -10 years of experience including supervision of a high volume center and a passion for helping a company grow and change? As part of the Operations Team, you will manage the daily distribution and operations activities including shipping and receiving, QC, capacity planning and logistics;ensure a superior level of customer services internally and externally;communicate effectively throughout the company;develop DC objectives, budget and long term goals;problem solve, create opportunities to improve efficiencies and best practices;manage, motivate and inspire a staff of 50 exempt and hourly in a non-union environment with multiple shifts/7day operation;oversee on-site contracted personnel;increase your personal development skills with exceptional internal programs; be expected to support and facilitate the company?s philosophy of creating a learning culture in the supervisory and hourly ranks.
