Director of Building Operations

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Long Island University/ Brooklyn Campus is seeking a Director of Building Operations. This person will manage and oversee the entire operation(s) of our new Wellness, Recreation, Athletic, Center.  They will direct all personnel including the Fitness and Aquatics Directors, and all staff within.  Strong leadership and communication skills are a must. Possess strong program development and event management skills. Must have experience in dealing with athletics in regards to events and facilities management. Should have knowledge as to what is needed for an athletic, fitness and wellness program to operate effectively. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

This candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelor?s degree and possess at least five years of experience in working at a professional or collegiate indoor facility. Must have strong organizational skills, detail oriented, working knowledge of Microsoft. Experience in developing policies and procedures to ensure an organized and safe environment for the student body, staff, administration and faculty.

 

SALARY:
Commensurate with experience
