Director of Critical Care Services

POSITION SUMMARY:? The Director of?Critical Care?Services demonstrates critical thinking skills, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, scientific judgement, and leadership in the anticipation, designing and planning for the 24 hours care of the patient on the Nursing Units for which he/she is responsible and accountable for the planning, directing and provision of nursing care to patients (MICU, SICU,CCU, CVICU) in accordance with physician's orders, recognized nursing techniques, procedures, established standards and administrative policies.



Required Job Qualifications include:Current Florida licensure as an RN or eligible. Current certification as a BLS and ACLS Healthcare Provider. Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.? Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Management preferred. Minimum of?5 years of acute care experience. Previous experience as a Nursing Director or Nurse Manager. Customer service abilities including effective listening skills. Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, strong communication skills and leadership abilities. Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds
