SUMMARY
This position is supports the overall management of the assigned region in accord with sound management practices, required governmental regulations and prudent cost control. Ultimate goal is to improve automatic taping tool penetration and increase merchandise sales revenue within defined area of responsibility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Hire, supervise and direct the activities of the store managers/sales associates within the region. This requires travel time of 60-75%.Profitable operation of each storeRegional adherence to divisional policies and proceduresTimely submission of regional reports to divisional officeIf necessary, operate regional stores in absence of store managerCollect appropriate marketing data, developing regional marketing plans and effectively communicating action plans to subordinates and management.Analyze open markets requiring distribution as determined by strategic master representation plan. Recommend Our store or franchise.Conduct training sessions for Our employees, drywall contractors, etc.Proper asset management by counseling Our managers on inventory control techniques and conducting routine audits.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of store managers, field specialists and regional sales associates. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor?s degree (B. A.) from a college or university; and five years experience in supervising or managing store operations and sales/marketing efforts in a multi-location, multi-level distribution network or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be PC literate. Bi-Lingual (Spanish) a MUST. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Must have the ability to effectively organize, develop and communicate strategies, tactics and action plans.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Requires valid drivers license with good driving record.
