District Manager Trainee - Concord, CA

As a District Manager Trainee you will provide outstanding customer service to businesses in a variety of industries. You will be responsible for making direct service calls and resolving service problems while maintaining close coordination with the production department regarding service objectives and customer problems.  The District Manager Trainee carries out the company’s Quality Control Monitoring program and achieves or exceeds customer visit targets. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and supervising the Route Sales Representatives by: providing coaching to improve their performance, holding RSRs accountable for meeting goals established by the Market Center; and providing appropriate training by riding with the RSRs on a regular basis.  This position also assures timely contract renewals and accounts receivable collections, and is responsible for assisting the District Manager and Route Sales Reps where necessary. Driving new and existing sales within your team is also imperative to ensure district growth.


Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of service industry experience with a proven track record for growing accounts. Must have highly developed interpersonal, analytical and communication skills. Strong customer service and sales results are essential. P&L accountability and/or contract-managed service experience is desirable. Must have a valid driver's license with excellent driving record. Advancement opportunity may require relocation.
