JOB TITLE: ENERGETIC OPERATIONS MANAGER NEEDED

 

 

 

We are an established company, importing and selling unique, fine home furnishings, home decor and fine art. The items are shipped from 17 countries throughout the world to our central location in Corona, California. The items are then shipped to various venue locations throughout California, Nevada and Arizona and are sold at professional live auction.

JOB PURPOSE: To maintain warehousing, receiving, distribution services and manage supervisory staff. You will oversee an energetic team of dedicated individuals who enjoy working together toward common goals, demonstrated by support and integrity.

 

 

 

DUTIES:

 Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing programs, operational and personnel policies and procedures.

 Develop efficiency in product movement and storage systems; make recommendations for improving productivity and general operations.

 Maintain physical condition of warehouse and equipment.

 Control inventory levels, physical counts; reconcile with data system.

 Complete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees.

 Maintain warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training; plan and review compensation; enforce policies and procedures; resolve issues.

 Maintain Safety Management Program through education and continual training.

 Maintain warehouse personnel job results by coaching, counseling and disciplining employees.

 Serve on cross functional teams for problem solving and continuous improvement purposes. 

 Understand and maintain good housekeeping and safe environment for employees.

 Plan, monitor and appraise job results.

 

 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 Minimum 3 years experience in warehouse operations management.

 Minimum 5 years experience in shipping / receiving and or distribution.

 Must excel at time management, organization skills, leadership, and communication skills.

 High School Diploma or GED

 

 The willingness and ability to relocate to or commute on a daily basis to Corona, California.

 

 

 

COMPENSATION:

 

 $50,000 - $65,000 annually
