Position: ?Portfolio PMO (Level 11) ?Position responsible for processes that enable Business/PBSG Functional Councils Project Portfolio Decisions. ?This must be a full-time position.

? Solid line reporting to Vice President ?of EPMO / One Up PMO organization
Summary: ?An integral member of the EPMO function and a trusted resource to Function Heads to drive PepsiCo portfolio processes. ?Support the Functional Councils efforts to review, validate and reconcile the divisional / functional enterprise and function work against the strategic vision. Rollout of portfolio processes that enable Functional Councils to align the enterprise and functional project portfolio (SAP and legacy) in partnership with the Divisions.

Responsibilities:
? Drive portfolio process into the PepsiCo business and PBSG organization. Rollout and maintain agile processes to facilitate sound strategic decisions and that promote transparency and on-going effective decision making.
? Consult on EPMO development of the PepsiCo portfolio process including tools, deliverables, decision criteria and reports. Examples could include Business Case Template, Vision Template and a common Business/PBSG Investment Abstract.
? Consult on selection of proposed criteria for assisting in preliminary identifying, evaluating, prioritizing, selecting and approving set of projects with the Solutions Architect and EPMO Portfolio Management Group Manager for Functional Council?s review.
? Rollout of standard processes so project approval decisions can be made objectively and easily mapped to corporate strategy
? Operationalize process for identifying, selecting and prioritizing Functional projects that support corporate business strategy
? Enable project initiation and approval processes for Functional Councils
? Support collection of project needs from Functions with processes, tools & reports
? Collect and consolidate process deliverables/templates with data inputs for review and analysis by the Data/Technical/ Control/ Solution Architecture & Functional teams.
? Aggregate preliminary selection results and provide in tool/reports for review and decisions
? Consult with Data/Technical/ Control/ Solution Architecture on identifying project interrelationships, conflicts or dependencies that will affect project selections, prioritization and/or resource allocation decisions
? Review proposed projects with Solution Architect to determine impact to existing projects and identify resource allocation or project sequencing impacts
? Facilitates processes approved by Functional Council that enable executives to reach prioritization conclusions.
? Summarize reporting and publishing the decisions to the appropriate audience in the organization which could include Senior PepsiCo executives and the PEC to provide visibility to the enterprise project portfolio.
? Enable same processes for selecting and prioritizing Functional projects that are Off-cycle, Break/Fix Enhancements and any One Up IRP processes that need escalation to Functional Councils
? Facilitation and logistical support of functional council meetings
? Interface with Solution Architect to create meeting deliverables as input to functional council sessions.
? Responsible for meeting presentation pre-reads, agenda, meeting coordination and facilitation, documentation of action items/results and follow up on outstanding action items
? Monitor aggregate project performance and value indicators of portfolio on a per period basis for all approved projects
? Contribute to portfolio and program reporting and analysis for business and IT leadership on a recurring and an ad hoc basis.

Qualifications / Experience:
? Willing and able to help shape the PepsiCo Portfolio Process and practices to support PepsiCo Strategic Imperatives
? 7-10 years of prior work experience in the areas of project management
? 5+ years of experience leading and executing Business or IT projects
? 2+ years of experience leading a program of projects.
? Experience with developing or implementing processes such as portfolio, program, and project management or CMMI, Six Sigma, ITIL.
? Critically important is the ability to understand ?the big picture? while also being able and willing to dig in to help tactically execute, as needed. Detailed oriented
? Strong influence and facilitative skills, leadership and management abilities. ?Demonstrates thought leadership and the ability to translate industry standard practices to an effective working model in PepsiCo.
? Demonstrated problem-solving skills. Ability to exercise good judgment, make decisions and assess and resolve problems. ??Willing and able to make tough decisions.
? Ability to identify portfolio and program issues and drive resolution. ?This includes the ability to dig beyond the surface to identify root causes and situations that are not necessarily self-evident or actively identified by the project team directly.
? Knowledgeable on the Project Management Institute (PMI) standards and body of knowledge, with a preference for PMP or CAPM certification. ?Expectation that certification will be sought and achieved within 12 to 18 months.
? High degree of initiative, self-motivation, and creativity with proven ability to lead peers and act independently.
? Proven success building strong relationships with all levels of an organization, within ?the Business units and PBSB
? Outstanding meeting facilitation communication and presentation skills. ?Ability to communicate effectively (in verbal and written forms) with technical and non-technical personnel across the enterprise.
? Proficiency with one or more portfolio management software tools preferred.
