Executive Director

EM Resource Group is currently doing a search for an Executive Director for a Dallas based client. The Executive Director will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations and have responsibility for building systems and procedures to accomplish mission, goals and policies.

 



  Position Responsibilities:

Supervise the daily operation and administration

?  Oversee all recruitment, training, development and evaluation of staff

?  Develop and implement the programs and goals of the organization?s strategic plan

?  Promote the organization?s image in the community

?  Coordinate the preparation of the annual budget and provide on-going reporting of the fiscal state of the organization

?  Collaborate to obtain funding and sponsorship from the corporate community and the community at large for projects

?  Develop education and outreach programs to address the needs identified and to support the mission. 

?  Ensure that the Board is kept apprised of all federal, state and local guidelines and that all forms and reports required to be filed with federal, state and local agencies are submitted timely.

 

Experience:

 Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 3-5 years experience in fund development, event management and management of staff/volunteers Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills in delegation, fiscal management and program evaluation.  Ability to develop new programs. Excellent interpersonal skills including facilitation and problem solving abilities.  Ability to unite all into a strong team.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and Power Point).Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
