Position Summary:


Develop and improve product quality and cost structure  for Retail and Foodservice businesses. Lead projects from concept to commercialization. Capable of handling multiple projects at one time. 


 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Lead and assist other R&D teams in the hand on development of new product, line extensions, quality improvement, cost improvement, ingredient substitution and applied technology.

Lead and develop from concept to commercialization.

Lead technical project teams.

Provide technical leadership and support to marketing, sales, and supply chain within SLNA. Works closely with National Acct and Food Service customers to achieve successful outcomes.

Other duties as needed and/or assigned.

BS/MS/PHD in Food science or related field. 3 years product development experience.Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in formula development, commercialization and product development process.Computer literacy essential.Demonstrated project management skills while leading complex teams is required.Demonstrated technical competency through strong written and communication skills.
