Opportunity:  FILE ROOM MANAGER, reporting directly to the Vice President

 

Responsibilities:  As a FILE ROOM MANAGER, you would be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of all commercial, consumer, and mortgage file room and imaging functions. 

You would manage the risk of loan portfolios in regards to monitoring filing, release functions, and tracking of insurance and tax documents in consideration of the placement of collateral. 

You would lead and mentor a team of professionals (up to 30 reports) as well as maintain relationships with any external and internal vendors.

Other responsibilities would include assisting in the directing and planning of department budgets, goals, and business objectives, as well as any other projects as assigned by upper management.

 

 

Qualifications:  Qualified candidates will possess the following: 

*  Progressive experience in a management setting, including the ability to lead, direct, and motivate a team to operate at full efficiency.

*  Experience in banking and/or financial services industry is preferred, but not required.  Some of our best employees have come from outside areas!

*Strong knowledge/ experience in workflow management and document imaging strongly preferred.

*  Knowledge/ exposure to  lending practices strongly preferred

*  Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field, or equivalent work experience, required

*  Must be able to effectively build a process, take action, and "coach" a staff reporting to you.

 

Compensation: Commensurate with experience.  Targeted salary range for this position is between $50,000 to $80,000, including the potentail for year-end bonuses.  We also offer industry-leading benefits and a strong belief in promoting from within. 

 

Location:  Saginaw/ Flint/ Southeast Michigan

 

Relocation:  Relocation package provided for the right individual.
