Cummins Inc., a global power leader, is a corporation of complementary business units that design, manufacture, distribute and service engines and related technologies, including fuel systems, controls, air handling, filtration, emission solutions and electrical power generation systems. Currently we are looking for Fuel Systems Plant Quality Leader in Columbus, Indiana. As an Quality Leader some of your responsibilities will include:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


' Lead and develop the Quality Engineering support function, ensuring competent engineers are engaged on each team to provide effective manufacturing processes and controls for all manufactured and assembled products.
' Lead and manage the Six Sigma program for the Fuel Systems Plant.
' Direct and oversee the overall Fuel Systems Plant quality system and ensure the system is suitable and effective for the Fuel Systems Business.
' Ensure there is an effective process in place to identify issues, assign resources, and drive permanent corrective actions for Fuel Systems Plant product issues including those that occur internally, at engine plants, at OEMs, and in-service.
' Support the future of the Fuel System Plant by providing resources and support required to develop and implement product changes and new products.
' Provide personal leadership to all Fuel Systems people as an active, visible member of the Plant Leadership Team.
' Train and mentor the Plant Leadership Team on quality tools their application.
' Manage and improve the SQI activity including the relationships between Purchasing, Suppliers, and Internal Departments.


SKILLS - FUNCTIONAL/TECHNICAL:


Bachelors degree in Engineering or related area.
