General Manager - Delivery & Logistics

NOBLE LOGISTIC SERVICES, INC. (Noble) is in the delivery and logistics business. We are a national company operating in over 30 markets in the United States. Noble provides transportation solutions through our broad network of independent contract drivers in the following industries: auto dealerships, auto parts retail stores, auto parts manufacturers, printing companies, and suppliers of medical, pharmacy, optical goods, and more. We provide independent contract drivers(using their own vehicles) for our customers who have elected to outsource their current delivery program.



As the GENERAL MANAGER, you would be?responsible for all the day-to-day business aspects of our BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA, office. Communication and control of the daily flow of events is key to running a successful operation. Your duties will range from independent contract driver negotiations to customer relations. In addition, you will be responsible for growing and adding new business. Below are some of the qualities needed for success:



EXPERIENCE and REQUIREMENTS:



* 3+ years experience of demonstrated proficiency in Dedicated Transportation/Third-Party Logistics business

* Knowledge of the automotive parts industry (sales, distribution, etc.) - experience as an AUTO PARTS MANAGER helpful

* Familiarity with recruitment and screening of independent contract drivers

* Proficiency in using systems and PC tools to achieve results



POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:



* Ability to target accounts and prepare proposals for new sales and growth strategies

* Total responsibility for profitable revenue growth for 'new sales' accounts and current customers

* Ability to review, analyze, and understand a profit and loss statement for your branch office
