Global MR Value Stream Leader
CITY: Waukesha STATE: Wisconsin COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
Provide leadership for Magnetic Resonance Lean initiative, driving a LEAN culture throughout the entire global organization, using transactional Lean concepts and principles to change the customer experience and drive organic growth.
* Lead the LEAN cultural change and training of the MR solid and dotted line organizations.
*Develop, deliver and monitor lean training to the organization. Cultivate lean experts through customized education. Help develop a pipeline of lean leaders in the MR business
*Initiate sustainable process improvements to exceed customer expectations while driving continuous process improvement throughout each of the 3 Value Stream Maps (Interest to Order, Order to Installation and New Product Introduction).
*Global ownership of the 3 Value stream maps to driving improvements in product quality, price realization, installation cycle time, and MR Net Promoter score.
*Facilitate the Lean MR Showcase through organizational communication and action oriented LEAN training to drive the culture change through the 700+ person global workforce.
*Implement continuous transactional quality improvement through the incorporation of customer requirements in all projects. Deliverables include; reduction in New Product Development cycle time, reduction in global installation cycle time, reduction in customer order placement cycle time as well as, and Lean principle translation through the organization and leadership for cultural adoption within the $1.5 B Global MR business.
Qualifications/Requirements:
*Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or Business Administration or Associates Degree in Engineering Technology, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electronics or Business Administration and 10 years of experience in a combination of Engineering, Operations or Supply Chain leadership roles
*7+ years in a LEAN, Six Sigma or Change Management leadership role.
*3+ years teaching lean principles and concepts
*In-depth understanding of Lean concepts and principles
*Willing to work out of an office located in Waukesha, WI
*Willing to submit to a drug test
*Willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example, verification of your past employment, criminal history, and education background
Desired:
*Masters Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or an MBA
*5+ years of work experience with Toyota working on Product Development
*Extensive knowledge of the Toyota Product Development System
*Working knowledge of Toyota Production System: JIT, Jidoka, & Heijunka - Hands on training in Japan with TPS tools & methodologies
*Experience implementing Lean thinking in transactional and business processes using Value Stream Mapping, Poke-Yoke and Kanban
*Experience building, empowering and leading talented cross-functional teams
*A leader who has the vision and courage to pursue big ideas, encourage smart experimentation, and bring innovation to market.
*Proven ability to communicate complex matters in a simple, understandable format Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills
*Strong Program Management and communication skills
*Ability to build and promote organizational change management initiatives
