Housekeeping Manager

Control Building Services, Inc., a top national provider of facility services has an immediate opening for a Housekeeping Manager in Elmhurst, NY.

 

SUMMARY

 

This position involves the overall responsibility for account management.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES

 

?  Adhere to contract specifications, labor budgets and supply budgets.

 

?  Coordinate, on a daily basis, all janitorial and maintenance activities at the site. Supervise assigned service workers.

 

?  Oversee and interact with sub-contractors

 

?  Establish and maintain a courteous relationship with the key customer contact at the site. Respond promptly to customer inquiries.

 

?  Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained, to include minor maintenance and daily cleaning. Send equipment for repair, as necessary.

 

?  Maintain cleaning and maintenance supplies inventory. Prepare supply order on a monthly basis.

 

?  Ensure compliance with all Company policies, procedures and applicable Collective Bargaining Agreements.

 

?  Handle recruitment, selection, orientation, training, and discipline for service workers and direct reports.

 

?  Ensure accurate and timely completion of appropriate personnel and payroll records, to include new hire paperwork, daily sign-in sheet, and payroll coversheets.

 

?  Schedule all necessary periodic work and coordinate resources with Area Manager.

 

?  Perform other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires a High School Diploma or GED plus a minimum of 5 years experience as a site supervisor or project manager in the Facility Services industry or related field.
