Responsible for providing technical consulting expertise to internal project teams and customers for solution development and problem resolution. Shape technical direction and strategies within organization. Contribute to organization’s profitability by generating and cultivating new business opportunities.


 


o Develop estimates for IT projects and use that for validating project proposals from 3rd party vendors.
o Analyze trends and variances of estimation variance
o Conduct project cost post-mortem to incorporate the lessons learned into the estimation methodology and validation processes




Required Skills:


* Software Engineering methodologies and practices
* Industry standard estimation techniques such as function point analysis, use-case point analysis, delphi, COCOMO, etc
* Scheduling using MS project
* understanding of requirements engineering including use-case modeling.


* Total of 6-8 years experience in IT industry
* At least 3 years experience as a technical project manager/lead
