The Implementation Program Manager position is within Fidelity’s Human Resources Services Company (FHRS).  FHRS provides benefits outsourcing services to Fortune 500 companies within the Fidelity Employer Services Company (FESCo). The benefits outsourcing business encompasses Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution, Health & Insurance, and Human Resources/Payroll administration & services.





The Program Manager is responsible for the facilitation, coordination, and management of projects across all product lines for the FHRS organization. The incumbent will manage resources, in a matrix environment across multiple locations, and their efforts to successfully complete these projects. Specific responsibilities include the following:


 

Lead multiple projects across Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution, Health & Welfare and HR Payroll platforms
Manage project costs by controlling project scope and meeting established timelines as well as managing expenses and managing within standards of the Service Model
Working with Manager/Director, develop and facilitate solutions for complex/significant business or technical issues/problems
Ensure technical solutions meet overall FHRS policies, procedures and frameworks
Communicate status and resolve issues related to Clients as they impact their teams regarding deliverables, time lines, and standard services
Escalate issues to senior management as appropriate
Proactively manage potential risk by understanding and facilitating the assessment of both client plans/practices and Fidelity's service commitments to the client against FHRS administrative practices
Direct associates in the development and validation of all project deliverables
Ensure the quality of various projects by ensuring appropriate reviews take place
Monitor, track, and report project status/ progress and report to Senior Management
Recommend processes to improve the quality and efficiency of projects
Take an integrated approach to solutions, keeping in mind coordination with other product lines (Health & Welfare, Defined Contribution and HR Payroll)


 

Ability to matrix manage across multiple locationsExpert level experience and skill in project management including hands-on experience in resource planning and scheduling, and planning and managing tasksWorking knowledge of pension administration, defined contribution plans, health and welfare plans and HR Payroll. Health and Welfare or HR Payroll experience strongly desiredExperience in the implementation of benefit administration systems, preferably client server/windows based systems desiredStrong leadership and team building skillsHighly organized and able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and problem solving skillsResults/action orientedStrong facilitation and influencing skillsBachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent discipline is required. Advanced degree is a plusPMP Certification desired Must be able to travel 25% of time (approximately one week per month)
