Premier is the division of Kaplan Test Prep & Admissions that offers private tutoring options for students preparing for pre-college exams, and is one of the fastest-growing areas of our company. This management position provides the opportunity to lead an exciting team focused on helping high school students achieve their educational and life goals. The position is based in the East Village.

Responsibilities:
o Hiring, training and general management of program staff
o P&L/budget management
o Hiring, training, management, and professional development of tutors
o Development and implementation of local advertising and promotional programs
o Book-keeping and accounting tasks, including payroll, accounts receivable, and enrollment management
o Hands-on service delivery

Requirements:
o Bachelors Degree
o 3+ years of service industry, business management, or education experience
o Aggressive marketing skills
o P & L management experience
o Strong leadership, entrepreneurial and team motivation skills
o Excellent organizational and planning skills
o Problem solving, decision making and creative thinking abilities
o Strong interpersonal, communication (verbal and written) and polished presentation skills
o High energy level
o Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
o Some local travel is required
o Ability to work occasionally during evenings and weekends
