Landscape Maintenance Account Manager

Seasoned landscape maintenance professional needed to oversee & coordinate all maintenance activities for this multi-million dollar division including mowing, horticultural services and chemical applications. Position is directly responsible for crew productivity, job costing and overall quality of work performed by crews.

 

Responsibilities and duties:

 

*  Manage productivity of crews through efficient routing, equipment/supply usage, and by directly observing work of crews in the field to identify ways to improve.

*  Schedule and supervise production, delivery and installation activities.

*  Evaluating and analyzing job costs and performance data and keep in line with contract pricing

*  Coordinate crew assignments to complete projects successfully.

*  Quality assurance visits for all properties and ensure all work conforms to specifications

*  Building and maintaining client relationships in a pro-active manner

*  Supervise logistics of ordering and delivering plant material and landscape supplies

*  Coordinate activities with sales reps, the construction department, and other divisions as needed.

*  Analyze future needs, forecasting staff and materials needs to complete future jobs.

*  Staff development to include cross-training to staff and performance evaluations.

*  Training, coaching and mentoring employees

*  Continuous development of industry and management knowledge.

*  Addressing complaints and resolving problems

*  Implementing safety policies and procedures

*  Preparing client budget worksheets

*  Interview, hiring and training employees

 

 

? Minimum 3 years experience in the landscape industry especially maintenance and irrigation.

? Expertise includes knowledge of plant identification.

? Ability to show initiation for problem solving and working with a dynamic multi-faceted company

? Qualification in Horticultural; combination of related experience and post secondary education

? Proven analytical skills and demonstrate strong leadership skills.

? Ability to interpret and understand final-phase landscape, hardscape and irrigation plans

? Basic understanding of Spanish desirable

? Computer literate, familiar with MS office.

? Possess a valid AZ Drivers License and acceptable driving record
