Lending Operations

Lending Operations Purpose: To provide administrative support to the Lending Operations Team of Corporate Banking Operations. The nature of the support requires an energetic individual with strong analytical skills, basic understanding of the loan products, and extensive knowledge of MS Office, reporting to the AVP/Team Leader of the Lending Operations group. Requirements: The candidate should have extensive experience in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Access. Basic understanding of loan processing and/or letters of credit would be beneficial. Main Functions: Identify, label and distribute incoming fax correspondence using Microsoft Outlook Assist with preparation, faxing and mailing of the invoices for the Letters of Credit commissions. Assist inputting daily fluctuation of LC balances into the IBS system Assist applying fee receipts into in-house reconciliation system Assign outstanding differences in the cash account to the Loan Administrators using Microsoft Access database Assist with preparation of weekly and monthly escalation reports Organize and coordinate various team events Distribute daily incoming mail Co-ordinate weekly supplies orders Maintenance of vacation, sickness, etc. records Assist with various system enhancements and testing, as directed by Team Leader Assist Managers with sundry other administrative & processing tasks, as required. Experience: Extensive experience with MS Office suite of products, especially with Microsoft Outlook Completed or Underway college degree from an accredited school Basic experience in Corporate Banking Essential Qualities: The successful candidate will possess many of the following qualities/skills: Clear and concise communication skills both Verbal and Written Ability to handle a heavy workload as well as think and act independently and on own initiative Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize daily tasks Enthusiastic and motivated; looking to grow within a rapidly expanding and ambitious commercial bank
