NECO Transport Ltd. headquartered in Hogansburg, NY and specializing in the delivery of petroleum and distillates to consumer end fuel stations is looking for a Logistics Manager for their new Buffalo, NY Satellite Office.  This position will have a strict confidentiality agreement for which they need to abide by and understand. This person will be located in the Buffalo, NY area with its main focus on dispatching petroleum transport trucks, organizing delivery to our customers based on their inventory levels, providing excellent customer service and be able to dispatch terminal locations to transport drivers based on pricing given by the main office.  Researching background material and responding to customers and telephone calls in a hospitable manner.  Work schedule will vary 7 days a week.  They would also assist in the filing of administrative paperwork at the Buffalo Office.

Ability To:Dispatch trucks and drivers to the proper terminals based on pricing given by the main office.Load, transport and deliver petroleum products (gasolines and distillates) to retail stations and commercial/industrial accounts in a safe and efficient manner.Follow safe and environmentally sound loading and unloading procedures.Maintain physical capability of lifting, carrying, pushing, or dragging hoses and equipment up to 50 lbs.Understand all aspects of importing and exporting through the Canadian and US Border. Be familiar with the Buffalo Region in order to better service our customers.Complete all necessary administrative requirements.Abide by company policies and guidelines pertaining to safety and the protection of the environment.Adhere to all local and federal laws at all times.Demonstrate customer focus and conduct themselves in a professional manner with customers and the motoring public.Operate all equipment (tractors, trailers, loadrack systems, pumps, etc.) essential to this job efficiently and safely. Connect/disconnect hoses and opening/closing valves as necessary.Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with HazMat endorsement.A minimum 2 years verifiable tanker driving experience.A High School Diploma or equivalent.Willingness and ability to relocate to or commute on a daily basis to Buffalo, NY without company assistance.Legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than your current employer.Willingness and ability to follow all environmental laws and regulationsAbide and understand all NYS Department of Transportation Regulations with Hazardous Material. Willingness and ability to complete a pre-employment application in accordance with sec. 391.21 of the DOT handbook.Willingness and ability to meet or exceed the physical qualifications as listed in sec. 391.41 of the DOT handbook.The willingness and ability to successfully complete both a road test and written examination.The willingness and ability to work when needed. Flexible schedule is a must.

 

Preferred Qualifications:
In addition to the required qualifications the successful candidate is likely to be able to
demonstrate:Recent experience dispatching, driving and delivering hazardous materials.Knowledge and understanding of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other software regarding transport management.A record of customer focus and professional conduct with customers.Clean NYS Commercial Driver?s License with Haz Mat ? Endorsement.
