DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

?Develops the Master Production Schedule for all end item parts. Interfaces daily with various departments at all levels of management.?Provides timely and quality service to? internal customers.Maintains top level customer requirements to drive total manufacturing requirements. Analyzes customer requirements and reports variances from previous requirements. Creates level-load schedules, which satisfy customer requirements and provides a smooth production flow through work centers. Creates and submits recommit schedules to business unit managers for approval, as required. Monitors and reports inventory levels of WIP and raw stock.? Maintains inventory levels to required production schedules.Updates data in integrated computer files as schedule change and parts are shipped.? Closes or deletes production orders in the computer when parts are shipped.? Posts shipments to the master schedule and sales orders. Prepares, publishes and distributes the Weekly Management Recap Report to business units to provide visibility of current schedule to customer needs.Analyzes Change in Designs (CIDs) to identify production and schedule impact. Reviews all issued sales orders for changes in order quantity, design configuration, part number, Change in Design affectivity and schedule dates.Maintains a historic log of schedule changes for all programs. Creates and monitors production output against customer requirements. Analyzes current systems and submits proposals for implementing improvements if necessary. Notifies contracts of declining customer orders.

QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE

?Requires a 4-year degree with an emphasis in Production and Operations Management, or equivalent.? American Production Inventory Control System (APICS) certification is desirable. Requires 2 years experience in materials in a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace.? Must be computer proficient. Must possess good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills and be detailed oriented.

Requires a 4-year degree with an emphasis in Production and Operations Management, or equivalent.?

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Able to communicate effectively in the English language.
